Are you suffering with stomach pain on a regular basis and are you seeking stomach pain relief? Fortunately, stomach pain is not always due to a serious illness or condition. Often pains in the stomach are caused by stress and/or by foods that are simply too hard to digest. Whether or not you are dealing with indigestion, heartburn, excess stomach acid or something more serious like stomach ulcers, there are a number of “natural” pain relievers that can provide you with stomach pain relief.
Need Stomach Pain Relief
Fortunately, when it comes to getting stomach pain relief, you will find an array of herbal, homeopathic, and natural remedies that are designed to relieve pain, and in some instances, they may even promote abdominal health. It is said that the average American gets between 10 to 15 grams of fiber each day; however, it is recommended that we eat between 20 and 35 grams each day. Fiber is great for the digestion system and can help to regulate bowels so that you don’t get constipated. If constipation is the cause of your stomach pain, try adding more fiber to your diet. (Check out our supplement section for this.)
Some other home remedies that have been known to provide stomach pain relief include sipping or drinking a mixture consisting of:
- (1) tumeric and honey
- (2) one tablespoon of apple cider and 16 ounces of water
- (3) two broken cinnamon sticks in 3 cups of boiling water, peppermint tea, or milk (with or without garlic).
When dealing with a pain in the stomach, the most important thing to know is that you do not need to suffer endlessly. First and foremost, you do need to determine whether or not there is a serious underlying cause, as stomach pains can be sign of bacterial infections, infections of the bladder, ulcers, etc. These at least can be helped with probiotics instead of anti-biotics. (Antibiotics would cause yeast in the body and a lowered immune system so we could not recommend this personally.). Once you know what you are dealing with, then you will be able to treat the pain appropriately.
